Except I wanted to say something, but I couldn't really think of anything. So I'll just weigh in on the summer movies:
Madagascar: the penguins kicked butt. "You! Higher mammal! Do You Read?"
Bewitched: the preview was funny, but most of the scenes in the preview weren't in the movie. Kind of gyp-py.
Mr. and Mrs. Smith: I liked that the song that was playing in the van was "Making Love Out of Nothing at All." Hunter and Cam!
~there might have been some other movie or two in here that I can't remember~
Fantastic Four: Johnny was funny. "Is that a trick question?" I liked it.
Stealth: the end reminded me of Iron Giant. Lots of fast planes going fast, and pretty people and good music. Oh, and refueling a plane in the air is really hard.

I want to see Sky High. And March of the Penguins. Yeah, those are similar.

Bewitched, in my lame opinion, was incredibly boring. I didn't even want to see it, but my mother liked the preview, so off we went. Boring, boring, boring.

Mr. & Mrs. Smith, I absolutely *adored*. Saw it twice, once with each parent. And I was vastly amused that the song playing in the van was "Making Love Out of Nothing at All"--not only did I instantly think of Hunter and Cam, but I instantly thought of my boyfriend, Gerard, who'd just sent me an mp3 of that song the night before.

*giggles*

I want to see both Fantastic Four and Stealth (and Sky High, for that matter), but Mom doesn't want to see any of those, and Dad's back in TX again, so I won't get to see them. Just have to wait until they come out on DVD and rent or buy 'em, I guess.

*sigh*

Anyhow, thanks for posting--very cool post, whether you had anything to say or not.

*grin*

Oh! The penguins made the movie for me! "Can you keep a secret, my monochromatic friend?"

Bewitched was eh. Nicole Kidman was really good in it.

I'm glad to hear I'm not the only one that was thinking of Hunter and Cam in that scene in Mr. and Mrs. Smith! :)

Fantastic Four rocked! I was so afraid it would do badly and there would be no sequel. (Really, this was all pretty much origins.) I was so glad when a sequel was announced very quickly. As much as I liked the first one, I have a feeling the second one will be like most second movies of super heroes -- able to do more character stuff because the foundation was already taken care of in the first movie.

Have not yet seen Stealth. I want to, though.

You *must* see March of the Penguins!! ::bounces:: I have to admit, I love those little birds so much. Still, it is an excellent movie.

I adored Sky High. Just plain adored it. Has a chance of being my favorite movie of the year. So much fun with such good characters (most of 'em). I would have loved to have seen more of their world. I found it a pretty cool place to visit.
