Woohoo! I feel like I've been accepted into a special writers cult! Except hopefully they don't want all my possessions. Yes, starandrea convinced me to do NaNo this year. I'm excited, because apparently a large number of snacks are consumed throughout the novel-writing process. Yummm....

You are so well-schooled in personal safety! Not only are you on the lookout for cults, but you have permanently taught me "Never go to the secondary location!" I was just thinking that while I was reading an SG:A fic today... I was like, "Why are you going with them? No! Don't do that! Never go to the secondary location, you fools!"

I got that same lecture too! Well, not from marcicat but from my Judo instructor. Don't go to the secondary location. Just make them shoot you on the street. Not so sure I like the second part of that information but hey, whatever floats your boat. Just make sure you have your oars in the water. (sorry that last bit is a bit of an inside joke)

the NaNo site had this cool overlarge mug at their store for like 3 days. it was on back order for weeks, then sold out almost immediately when it came in. dagnabbit. but I digress...
