My NaNo "grocery list"

So over on starandrea's page, she posted about grad school, and invited others to share their thoughts, ideas, grocery lists, etc. I thought about posting this there, but then decided to keep it for my own journal, as mine is sadly lacking in entries.

Things I Want for NaNo:
1. snacks
2. cookies (such an important subset of snacks that they deserve their own number)
3. an alien transporter device
4. a superfast internet connection
5. a monkey

I thought about leaving her my grocery list. but since it was only the single line, "need beer", I didn't think it would add much to the conversation. *grin*

is an alien transport device cooler than a human transport device, simply because it's alien, or because it would probably transport things in an ultra cool alien way?

I'd love a superfast internet connection. but I'd settle for a new battery for my ancient laptop. and cookies. cookies sound good.

okay, so maybe there are 2 things on my grocery list now. beer and cookies. *grin*

I believe the device was *created* by aliens, hence the name. And I'm sure that if the aliens created such a cool transport device, they probably have an equally cool replicator device, which means alien transport devices for all who want them!
